27 April 2024, Las Cruces, NM, Steven Zimmerman—I am an artist. When I was younger, I loved to watch my grandmother paint. While she painted, I would draw and sketch.
Over time, I added pastels, oils, watercolors, and other exotic items, such as gold and silver leaves, to my work, and my artwork began to take on a life of its own. And my styles are as varied as the media I use.
Then, my mom bought me a Kodak 110 and a Kodak 126—two excellent, small pocket-size cameras I wish they still made today. When I was about thirteen, I sold my first photo on a foggy, wet day in the Franklin Mountains. It was a great photo.
Now, I’ve added graphic design to my work. It’s a great way to create digital art without making a physical item to digitize it.
Why do I mention all of this? I will share some of my work and two shops: Etsy and Bonfire. Hopefully, you’ll visit and find something you like enough to add to your collection.
